Holland-Waller Center

The Holland-Waller Center hosts the Clifton L. Ganus Sr. Department of History and Political Science, the department of foreign languages and international studies, the ROTC program and the Swaid Institute for International Education, which includes Harding’s international study abroad programs, international student services, the China and East Asia program and the Walton International Scholarship Program.

The Swaid Institute for International Education

The Swaid Institute for International Education includes all international student programs involving nearly 250 students from other countries and more than 350 students who study abroad each year.

An accomplished businessman and community servant, Clifton L. Ganus Sr. served as chairman of the board of trustees from 1940-1954.

The “Bison Detachment” ROTC program trains and prepares future commissioned officers for successful careers in the U.S. Army.
