Harding School of Theology Alumni Resources

More than 3,000 Harding School of Theology alumni lead ministries across the nation and around the globe. They are ministers, professors, youth ministers, counselors, chaplains, campus ministers and a diverse group of community leaders. Whether you're a recent graduate or a student from decades ago, thank you for being part of the HST family!

Alumnus of the year

Congratulations to 2024 Alumnus of the Year Brenda Curtis!

Brenda Curtis earned a Master of Arts in counseling in 2001. In January 2002, she began 22 years of service as assistant to the dean, working with Drs. Huffard, Black and Powell. She has provided exceptional service to and care for students. She has an active women’s ministry in teaching and counseling and has provided leadership for Women for Harding. She is the third woman to recieve the award, along with Annie May Lewis (1993, 2006) and Linda Oxford (2004). She and her husband, Randy, have two daughters and five grandchildren and attend Park Avenue Church of Christ in Memphis.

Harding School of Theology is fueled by generous donations from both organizations and alumni. Your support allows us to continue contributing to the transformation of Christian leaders. You can make a one-time gift or set up recurring donations.

HST maintains an extensive database of alumni dating back to 1959. Visit our ScholarWorks webpage, and use the search bar on the left to find your graduating class and other alumni.

*Note that the names in the database are what graduates choose for their diplomas.

HST alumni have lifetime borrowing privileges from the library. If alumni live too far from campus to visit the library regularly, they may request books be sent by mail and/or articles by email using the Library Materials Request form.

Alumni have access to ATLA Serials® (ATLAS®) (an online collection of full-text articles), the prestigious Anchor Yale Bible Commentaries, and the T&T Clark Theology Library (a core collection of primary theological texts); as well as OverDrive (an online book and audiobook collection).

Alumni may obtain their login information by contacting the library at 901-761-1354 or hstlib@hst.edu.
