Dr. Monte Cox

Dr. Monte Cox is dean of the College of Bible and Ministry. After graduating from Harding in 1981, he and his wife, Beth, spent 10 years planting churches in Kenya. He holds a master’s degree in missiology and church growth from Harding School of Theology in Memphis, Tennessee, and a doctorate in intercultural studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. He has taught Bible, missions and world religions courses at Harding since 1992. He also served as preaching minister at the Downtown Church in Searcy from 2013-2022. He is the author of Significant Others: Understanding Our Non-Christian Neighbors (Leafwood 2017). He and Beth have three children and four grandchildren
