About: This summer we hope to return to Yendi, Ghana, West Africa for our 6th summer mission trip. Yendi is in a fairly remote region of northern Ghana. Our work primarily involves working with impressionable junior high students who are eager to learn about Christ. Each year we teach traditional English, Science, and Bible classes with an emphasis of “hands-on” application. More importantly, we conduct daily chapel services and devotionals with the students and teachers. In addition, we travel to remote villages with those that drill water wells to distribute needed clothing, share God’s word and pray with them. We also go with local evangelists to area congregations to encourage weaker church members and learn local customs.
