Earn your teaching licensure from Harding
If you already have a bachelor's degree, our 33-hour, 100% online Master of Arts in Teaching will grant you a master's degree toward a teaching license at the K-6, 4-8, 7-12 or K-12 grade levels in content areas of your choice.
Licensure areas include:
- Early childhood/special education integrated (birth-K)
- Elementary
- Middle level
- Secondary
- Special education K-12
Program Overview
Core Requirements: 27 hours
Field Experience: 6 hours
Two tracks available
Track 1- Provisional Licensure
- Candidates secure a teaching position as a teacher-of-record seeking non-traditional licensure and will become eligible for and obtain a provisional license in the area of expertise in which they are seeking licensure.
Track 2 - Traditional Licensure
- Candidates will follow a more traditional teacher preparation program culminating with a semester of student teaching.
