Faith and Business Symposium
The Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration hosts our annual Faith and Business Symposium on the Friday of each HU Homecoming weekend. This year's event was held on October 28, 2022. Each year we invite guest speakers to come share with our students. As the name implies, the presentations focus on faith, business, ethics and advice for students' future. In addition to individual speakers, there are panels for discussion about topics relevant to our students.
Each year the symposium is open to anyone who would like to join us and is completely free.

COBA Cookout
Faculty and staff host the annual COBA Cookout for students, serving free hamburgers and hotdogs straight from the grill. Take this opportunity to get to know the student leaders from various business clubs and organizations at their booths to stay involved in business activities throughout the year.
Leadership Seminar
Students are given the opportunity each year to learn from successful professionals in their field of study at a professional business conference. The leadership seminar emphasizes the integration of faith and business that foster increased spiritual, personal and professional development. The seminar was created to provide close access to successful leaders and to prepare students to enter their professional careers as servant leaders. Alumni speakers have attended from companies such as First Federal Bank in Arkansas, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., and Wal-Mart.
Celebration Awards Dinner
COBA comes together every year to celebrate and acknowledge the numerous accomplishments of faculty and students as well as honor our business club officers, competitive teams and top academic students for their success.
