The BSW at Harding University meets the educational requirements for licensure in the state of Arkansas.  Upon successful completion of the degree, a graduate of Harding University's Social Work Program may seek licensure by the state by passing the LSW Exam administered by the Association of Social Work Board.  A one-year provisional license may be applied for after graduation until one takes the LSW Exam.

CPA licensure may not be required for employment as an accountant but is an expectation in professional firms offering accounting services to the public. All U.S. states and territories require applicants for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure to complete 150 credit hours of coursework. The 150-hour educational requirement includes the 120 hours required for most accounting degrees.  Licensure will require additional credit hours beyond those taken to meet degree requirements for Harding's Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

Additional requirements for CPA professional accounting certification vary by state and typically require more than successful degree completion.  Graduates who apply for CPA certification may need to satisfy other requirements, such as work experience or specific state-required exams in addition to the Uniform CPA Examination.
