Foreign Languages & International Studies Internships & Job Opportunities

Nationally commissioned reports over the last 5 years have shown urgent needs for foreign language professionals in a variety of business areas and defense (Making Languages Our Business pdf), and in multiple states, foreign languages appear on lists of critical shortage areas for teachers.

Internships

Students have recently interned with local organizations, including El Puente Hispanic Outreach Center, the Literacy Council of White County, and Searcy Public Schools to help provide services to non-English-speaking residents of Searcy.
