About the Heritage Center

Harding University’s newly renovated American Heritage Center in the David B. Burks American Heritage building provides premier services to the community. The conference center’s spacious layout and modern conveniences offer both form and function and make it the ideal setting for training seminars, workshops, conferences, conventions and vendor fairs — all at affordable and flexible prices.

Meeting areas

Whether hosting a large group or a smaller, more intimate affair, you will find a room suitable to your needs. Our conference rooms seat up to 200 individuals, and our smart classrooms can seat up to 56 guests. Cone Chapel holds 300 and is equipped with a bridal room for weddings. Additionally, wireless Internet is available in most areas as are video and DVD players. The Center also offers a variety of seating arrangements according to your needs: theater style, round tables, etc.

Two auditoriums provide seating for groups of 100 to 3,500 guests:

• Administrative Auditorium (across the Front Lawn from the Heritage Center), seats 900
• Benson Auditorium (one block from the Heritage Center), seats 3,500

Overnight accommodations

The third and fourth floors of the Heritage Center comprise Heritage Inn, which offers guests 48 hotel rooms and two suites at reasonable rates. During your stay, the following facilities and services are available: room service, fax service, cable TV, refrigerators, audiovisual services, the bookstore, library, U.S. Postal Services and the cafeteria. All hotel guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast.

Food service

If your meeting calls for snacks, refreshments, lunches (boxed or buffet), dinners or banquets, Chartwells Catering prepares quality food at economical prices. For more casual affairs, vendor areas are located in the adjacent Hammon Student Center.
