College of Allied Health - Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology (CFIT) Faculty

COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH. Seeking qualified applicants for a 10-month principal faculty position for the Harding department of Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology (CFIT); rank will be commensurate with applicant experience. Responsibilities will include working with existing faculty to create an on-line professional master’s program, teaching of the program’s core on-ground, and eventual on-line curriculum, advising and mentoring students, assisting with the technology lab, helping establish and maintain clinical sites, conducting scholarly activity in the faculty's area of expertise, and engaging in service to the college, university, and community.

Qualified applicants will be expected to have 3 plus years’ experience with cardiac devices, preferably both cardiac rhythm management (CRM)  and electrophysiology (EP), possess a minimum of a master’s degree, a minimum of three years of clinical experience; prior teaching experience and IBHRE certification is preferred.

This appointment will direct the NW Arkansas ABSN program at the Rogers campus. The position requires recruitment, hiring, orientation, supervision and the evaluation of clinical faculty and site staff. Site staff include but are not limited to test proctors, laboratory and simulation assistants. The position requires working collaboratively as a team with Searcy and Rogers faculty to ensure positive student experiences. Additional duties include but are not limited to scheduling all program activities, teaching in laboratory courses, implementing simulation, validation of nursing skills, evaluation of the competencies of students in clinical courses and proctoring exams on site. The successful candidate should maintain an active, unencumbered nursing license; be eligible for APRN or RN licensing in the state of Arkansas; have nursing practice experience; and have a minimum of an earned master’s in nursing.

Seeking a full-time 12-month faculty member for Brackett Library on the Harding University campus. The successful candidate must have an MLS or equivalent degree preferably from an ALA-accredited library program.  Preference will be given to those with three or more years' experience in an academic library environment. This position includes the management and supervision of the Public Services department that includes floor management of public areas and Circulation. Responsibilities include liaison activities, collection development, research assistance, and conducting instructional sessions.
